I'm looking to purchase some decent sounding headphones that won't break the bank. I've had my eye on the 400se headphones (currently $109) along with a Liquid Spark amp (currently $75). What would be a good DAC to pair with this? Or would a Topping DX3 Pro+ make more sense instead of the Spark for $199? I'm trying to keep it in the low $300 range total. Nothing has been purchased, so open to suggestions.

I would purchase the Topping DX3Pro+ and call it a day. You get the best of both worlds in a single form factor.
