Hi,
Rashly ordered a Fosi BT20A Pro to go with my (new to me) Denon DCD-710AE driving B&W 606 without thinking about the whole picture, partly because my old Yamaha amp turned out to be toasted when i took some measurements - one channel was quieter and quite distorted.
So I wanted purity from the CD Player into the Amp, but if I do this I have no EQ - which I want (need - B&W...).
At this point what I'd like, if such a thing exists is a DAC with the following, in priority order:
1. Optical in for the Denon
2. RCA out for the BT20A
3. DSP that I can EQ the room with.
4. USB in for streaming (probably pi)
5. Remote with volume and input switching.
Do I have any options under $500?
Cheers,
Ignore me. What I should do is wait for the Fosi to turn up and see what I can achieve with the tone controls before I drop a bunch of money on a MiniDSP.
