DAC for arcam avr 300 + ae radiance 1

Hi! Need your help. Trying to find a dac for my arcam avr 300 + ae radiance 1. Already tried fiio k13 r2r (garbage), aune x8 with different op amps including burson v7 (maybe it'd be ok for another system, but with my it lacks bass, texture and resolution), audio alchemy dac-in-the-box (more bass and texture, but very neutral non-emotive sound). Once tried streamer silent angel bremen b2, sounds much better due to its preamp, i guess, but lack resolution. Maybe i really need a preamp, not dac, idk. Any advice is welcome.

Focus on specifications (instead of listening tests), because they are based on measurements/reality (if there is no fraud).

Your AVR has a DAC built-in. It's "better" than most stand-alone DACs because it can decode all of the DVE & Blu-Ray formats, including surround sound. And, I assume it has EQ or tone controls so you can control the bass, etc.

Most DACs are "transparent" so they don't have any sound of their own. If they are not broken you are imagining differences.

I know what bass is, but texture. non-emotive and resolution are undefined. ...Resolution has a meaning in in digital audio but digital resolution (16-bit, 44.1kHz, etc.) but low resolution audio (8-bits) doesn't sound like "low resolution", but rather you hear quantization noise in the background. Generally, we WANT neutral (transparent) sound. If you want to change the sound you can use tone controls/EQ, or different speakers, or surround sound up-mixing, etc.
