DAC/AMP - USB TYPE-C PD power supply that supports 20V / 3A with a power output of 60W or higher

In a couple off weeks I will get an DAC/AMP for test that needs:

"It is recommended to use a USB TYPE-C PD power supply that supports 20V / 3A with a power output of 60W or higher"

A low ripple and noise USB-C PD power adapter or a powerbank could be a solution.

Any suggestions?

But what du "Total Harmonic Distortion" cover - Common-Mode Noise? Ripple? .....

PQS is a 0 to 200 rating of efficiency, Power Factor and Total Harmonic Distortion – like MPG for power electronics. A high PQS means that the product is using all of its energy effectively. A low PQS means the product is wasting energy.

PS: Is there something similar that covers powerbanks?
 
As far as I can see, the PQS qualifies the input side of the PSU. So it's a very rough indicator of engineering quality. I think due to factors related to the PFC it will also favor bigger supplies with a higher wattage, which don't make sense to buy if you only require a couple of Watts for a DAC. I don't think the PQS is very useful when looking for a good output power quality.

In general, any modern GaN charger which can supply 65 W on a single USB C port will most likely work fine, since that requires it to support the 20 V level at 3.25 A. For most of the "big brands" like Anker, Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, Ugreen and others, the noise and ripple of the supply will be decent. In general, I would not expect any problems due to these two metrics even on cheaper USB PD chargers - it's really not a concern for a DAC.
 
Get one of the 65 or 100 W devices from Anker, Apple or Lenovo. The YouTube reviewer @staticV3 has linked is very thorough and a good resource. ZeroBrain on YouTube also occasionally checks a charger. For example this Haribo-branded one (not kidding) or recently one from IKEA. Both look well made, but the Haribo one does have a safety ground connection which could increase the risk for ground loops.
 
Won't the DAC/AMP been running internal regulators and filters in addition to whatever the external PSU claims to do?
