DAC/Amp recommendations appreciated

My budget for the dac/amp is around $1750 or below.
I'm looking to drive a pair of Elac Uni-Fi UF5 (140 W/c at 4 Ohm)

I was originally going for the Schiit Vidar, but I've seen so many bad things about them, I think I'll just avoid them.
I'm now leaning towards the Topping D50 + Rogue Audio Sphynx V2 ( http://www.rogueaudio.com/PDFs/Sphinx v2.pdf )

But I have considered an integrated DAC/amp, the Rotel 1572, or Yamaha A-S801

Don't have any suggestions. What you have mind looks reasonable. You might look at the Wyred4Sound integrated.

What are you using now?

Have you looked at the second hand market?

Drop $150 on an SMSL AD18 and see how far it can get you. It should have enough power to push your Elacs, and if you don't like it you can always return it.
