Dac + amp Probably a simple question

But with mini dsp I should avoid subs with passive crossovers no?
Most subs have at least a variable low pass filter to help with sub integration. You don't need to avoid this, you just set the crossover to allow maximum frequencies through, and do the crossover in the miniDSP

And about your Kef R11 amp, the speaker has a sensivity of 90dB/1m/2.83v (1w/8R). That means with 150w you already have 30dB headroom above your listening volume. Even the most demanding classical music (with big dynamics) piece will never eat that headroom at 80dB, not even at 90dB volume. So a 250w/8R amp is already more than you need.

And this is al disregarding the room gain of your listening room, which probally add up some dB more.

You mean 250/4R?

Kef is 4R (3.2)

At what listening distance?
