Hello,

I would like to find a good amp for my in shipping Focal Elear.
I was focusing on SMSL M500 and Topping D7Xs.

Input would be via optical or USB (MAC) and output 6.35mm jack. Remote preferred.

Are there other alternatives in that range of 400-500 EUR / would you buy - DAC & AMP separate?

I wouldn’t buy a separates if I didn’t already have a HP amp or a dedicated DAC.

If it were me, I’d look at the Topping offerings.

I think in your price range, JDS Element II is probably the best choice. Alternatively Topping DX7 Pro for better dac and more inputs/outputs/bluetooth with a higher price.

Hello thanks for all feedback.
I decided for common solution and finally took SMSL M500.
After first testing, Iam pretty happy and built quality , usage with Tidal (MQA) works fine.

P.S.: Topping DX7 Pro also fine, but little more expensive.
