Please keep this thread on the topic of music and support for the people of Ukraine. Focus on their efforts to maintain a bit of normality in the face of stress and the unspeakable horrors being unleashed on some of the people of that nation. Please do not post videos of violence and fighting just because they contain background music. Instead, try to find glimmers of hope and normal life as Ukrainians try to get a break from the psychologically devastating events that they face these days. (And @BDWoody and @AdamG247 , please nuke any posts that violate the rules.)
My inspiration for starting this thread is a clip of a classical orchestral music performance that was posted on YouTube today with this description:
The Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra performed for the first time since the Russian invasion. They played in the official concert hall that is now a make-shift warehouse for medical supplies and food for the refugees.
Note: The music is from Beethoven's "Eroica". The Eroica explores what it means to be human. In facing his own demons and choosing to continue making music, to continue living, Beethoven embraced the heroic in everyman and, ultimately, in himself. Beethoven said that this symphony was his favorite.
If you are a classical music lover, and wish to support these musicians, here is a LINK...
