Hi,

I’m surprised that there isn’t any thread on the new Zidoo 8K player which have the same interface as Eversolo (both from the same company) that could let us cast the screen from our phone and play Apple Music natively, it even do Atmos music!

So here to my question, I have recently moved my Eversolo A6 to my work desk to pair it up with a topping dx9 and Hifiman He1000 stealth which mean I need a new streamer for my home theatre system. The top end model UHD 8000 have 2 hdmi output, of which one is purely for audio. I have read that when one is using the audio only hdmi output, the bitstream will be processed through the machine dual high precision crystal oscillators and clock reconstruction circuit, theoretically, will this improve the sound?

will anyone be able to give their insight on this? As this is likely the only reason I will opt for the uhd8000 instead of the z9x 8k which cost like 1/4.

Hi, it would be better if one of the 'Gurus' chipped in but ... look at the measurements of the Eversolo DMP A6 (and similar streamer/DACs). Nothing (nothing) is going to be audibly better.

You might get better measurements, but not better sound - ever, at all. You might want a specific feature that the z9x has, but that's your preference and nothing to do with sound.

Depends if you are chasing engineering excellence, want an unusual feature or just the best sound you can get.

Thanks, the UHD 8000 is a better unit for sure it’s just that most of the additional features over the z9x 8k will not be used in my scenario thus it might be hard to justify the 4x increase in price.
