It is difficult to make a multi-channel and high-power all in one while remaining low cost. You have to the design from scratch and produce yourself to keep low cost and have profit margin for you. Leaving aside the development costs that could also be zero if collaborators do it for hobby, the certifications necessary to be sold are expensive and must amortize with a certain number of sales. But such a product would be niche. We would have to invest in marketing, but the business risk increases. There is also to consider that there is a lot of software inside that must be kept updated...
Then, when you have to spend a (almost?) 4-digit number for an All in One you should be guaranteed that it will last at least a decade, but no one can give it, especially on a new product developed by an ASR Startup.
And rest assured that if the expectations are broken, the business is lost.
The modular route allows you to better manage your money in case of failure of a component of the chain.
Streamer, DAC, Amplifiers and all the PSU Units ... there are many that can fail. Not to mention the software bugs and obsolescence that the streamer is likely to meet.
Currently on the market you can build the chain according to your exact needs.
If it is a problem to have so many boxes around, there are certainly various solutions to hide them.
What I said collides apparently with what currently AVRs are (big and very expensive all in one).
But... AVRs have market because they simply have the function of decoding proprietary encoding (Dolby etc.) and allow HDMI input with also switch function. All of this is necessary and very convenient for home theater.
Then it must also be said that competing and filling the gap with those who already make such products (Wiim) is difficult.
Then basically from the audio point of view there is nothing of benefit in such a unit.
There are more critical areas in audio playback that can be crowdfunded.
I would not participate in this crowdfunding.
