CrinEar IEMs by Crinacle

That nozzle shape is a no-no for me:

I've had a couple of IEMs with smooth nozzles like that, and after a short while the ear tips start to come off and stay in your ear, when you remove the IEM.

It's much better if they have a lip or ridge to help retain the ear tip:

Would you care to elaborate, please? Thank you.
Not much more to say - I only heard them for a few minutes.
All three sounded very neutral, but Daybreak had the treble sound the most accurate to my ears. The differences I heard were a bit higher than what you'd think by looking at the graphs - not surprising, given the amount of variation we expect from in-ear headphones on differently shaped ear canals.

Your opinion counts for a lot for me, personally, so I'm super excited about the Daybreak, then.

Damn.....:( , I've been checking every day, sometimes twice a day to check on the release so I can buy a meta, so I check now before bed (uk time - 3am) and......they're all sold out.

Ho-Hum......didn't want the stoooopid iem's anyway:confused:

No, this is not the real listing. On instagram it is mentioned that it will be sold on Mar 25.

Ahhhh….phew, does it mention a price?.

Click the above link - price is there.

So it looks like that at 2pm UK time 25th the first 500 units will be for sale on Hangout.audio.

From what else I have heard the entire run is 1000 units which suggests 500 units have gone to the other distributors so the smart money is on Linsoul or Shenzhenaudio or both.

Presumably all the YT reviewers will release actual reviews (as opposed to unboxings) over the weekend / monday to build the hype for the hangout lot then the 2nd batch shortly after the first 500 have gone.

Clearly I was wrong about the reviews - lets see if I was wrong about the 2nd 500!

"Expandable up to 999 units depending on the response"

And out of stock already so I don't have to think about getting them or not.

Managed to get my order in as soon as it went live, don’t really need another iem but I don’t own a “meta” type tuning so we’ll see how I get on with it

I was considering getting one meta targetd iem for my imminent 50th, but nah, I'll wait the times when meta compliant iems will come down to < 50€ range, just like happened with harman.
At that point another reference curve will be created and will become the new target and the hamster will continue spinning around :p

The Meta does what Dusk DSP did, without DSP. Interesting. I certainly appreciate the flexibility of not depending on the DSP cable.

Looks like the production version does have nozzle lips, nice.

The Daybreak wasn’t a finished design in name nor shell, (from what I gathered)

Interesting . Suspect the limited run Meta might be the popular choice for a blind buy for many.
Hopefully it is popular and the limited run will sell all the Meta iems. This will hopefully prompt a second wave of production which will not be limited.
