Cover me I'm going in! - Post your favorite song covers.

The drummer is sina-drums. She has a lot on YouTube but doesn't make much from them because most of these covers are still under copyright so the pennies go to the holder.

It's been a long time since I've heard a version of House of the Rising Sun that got the heart pumping. Prefer that version to the original.

She has a 30 minute cover of the rock opera Tommy. It's a bit rough around the edges but it's the most fun I've had watching a youtube video. These kids( to me they're kids) are inspiring.

I've been playing this song in my playlist for years. Recently hit me that it's a cover of Iggy Pops I wanna be your Dog. Yes, I'm a little slow.

It is great to watch a wonderfully talented group of musicians play a fantastic rock ballad. But Keith Moon and the original recorded session is such an amazing performance that this cover just can't hope to live up to the potential of it.

Not sure if this has already been posted (apologies if it has):

Disturbd’s cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence"

I'm gonna let someone else choose a Steve Hillage cover of Hurdy Gurdy Man. I like the sound of the studio version on L best but the videos of the band live and on TV are hilarious. So Idk what to choose.

But while we're on the topic of hurdy gurdy...

Das Model - Kraftwerk - hurdy gurdy cover version by Ariel Ninas

Yes, but it was back in 2019 and it's still a great cover. For videos you can search for the ID (Bk7RVw3I8eg in this case) to see if they've already been posted.
DOH!!! Good point.

Here is a new one, not sure if I would call it good, but it does make me laugh...

Dread Zeppelin covering Led Zeppelin’s “Heartbreaker"

I wouldn’t really say that this is one of the best but it’s one of the funniest in my opinion.

Infant annihilator covering Gangnam style

I was just listening again to the Robert Wyatt album Nothing Can Stop Us and was struck by the wondrousness [sic] of Wyatt's cover of Chic's At Last I am Free.

Fire! Orchestra's version is equally wondrous:
