Hello,

Been curious if there's any quick, easy and convenient way to export the Equalizer APO 31 band graphic eq settings and convert them into PEQ to use them for example in JRiver?
Found just one solution in the web which I don't fully understand, involving the WebPlotDigitizer to the whole process. The rest search engine results are basically about doing the opposite thing, PEQ to Graphic EQ using Auto EQ

Best wishes

Measure your speaker with filters on and off. Use the A/B trace arithmetic function in REW, and thereafter flatten the resulting curve via the EQ module. Use the "generic" EQ setting. If 20 PEQs is not enough, just apply a second layer of EQ on top it.

*actually, this method assumes you have a microphone. Another method is to digitally measure the output signal of the filtered response vs unfiltered...

@CaptainBeyond possible without Webplotdigitizer using Audacity loopback recording, Room EQ Wizard, and an AutoEQ GUI like this (the Equalizer Tab).
I can send you a short tutorial if you'd like. Can you send me your GEQ preset?

Well that sounds kind of complicated to me as I'm only into basics of audio tech (which I hope will change after participating into this forum). Not experienced in taking measurements and interpreting them.

oh yeah, a step-by-step tutorial from A to B would be very, very helpful in this case, as you can interpret from what I wrote above, thank you very much!

That's my Equalizer APO settings from a file:

Device: Digital Audio (S/PDIF) High Definition Audio Device
Preamp: -6 dB
GraphicEQ: 20 -27.01; 25 -20.87; 31.5 -14.05; 40 -7.41; 50 -1.65; 63 2.94; 80 6.35; 100 7.2; 125 4.27; 160 -0.66; 200 -5.94; 250 -9.75; 315 -12.49; 400 -14; 500 -15.7; 630 -16.77; 800 -17.09; 1000 -17.46; 1250 -17.46; 1600 -17.46; 2000 -17.46; 2500 -17.09; 3150 -15.7; 4000 -13.74; 5000 -10.53; 6300 -7.41; 8000 -6.22; 10000 -7.41; 12500 -10.53; 16000 -17.46; 20000 -26.93
Filter: ON HSC Fc 3500 Hz Gain -9.7 dB Q 0.3333
# Filter: ON LSC Fc 125 Hz Gain -1.8 dB Q 0.4082

And this is how it looks graphically:

Set it up by ear.

I'm just using these two PEQ filters to adjust highs (basically just sibilance existing on some records) and bass boost when it's needed.

This sounds really good to my taste with music I enjoy to listen to, even just out from youtube, but would like to try to listen to some lossless via WASAPI mode and watch movies in Jriver with the same settings.

Ideally, to simplify things out maybe there is some Jriver plugin with similar UI that the Equalizer APO has? I find these PEQ knobs with gain and Q very, very convenient to adjust the sound to my preferences.

Best wishes
