I developed a small project that lets you control your Denon AVR volume and mute status with Microsoft Surface Dial. This was previously my favorite feature of the MiniDSP SHD but since I switched over to Denon for the Dirac Live Base Control (and maybe one day ART), I have been missing it.
If anyone decides to do it let me know if you have any issues. I tried to document the project after the fact. Didn't take long to set up and is immensely satisfying.
