Constructing a SPDIF coaxial cable (XLR to RCA)... Could use some help

Hi... my Lynx PCIe card allows me to change its digital I/O from AES to SPDIF via a jumper on the circuit board. Essentially, all the impedance, code and level changes are done on the card so I have a SPDIF signal now terminating to the breakout cable's 3-pin XLR (not AES).

In order to connect the digital signal to my Topping DAC's RCA coax connection, I need to build a short length XLR to RCA adapter cable. Lynx offers one (see pic) but since I already have a 3' Monoprice 75 ohm RCA coaxial cable I'm not using, I thought I'd splice it and connect the other end to a female XLR jack.

Could someone help me with wiring the XLR side of the cable?

Thanks

There is no standard pinout for SPDIF via XLR, so you'll have to first figure out which two pins of the XLR jack Lynx uses to transmit SPDIF.

Thanks staticV3... Yeah I was hoping I'd find an AV tech that knew. Even though I'm fairly sure the RCA's "hot" wire will go the XLR's Pin 2, the sleeve needs to terminate somewhere. I could always experiment with Pins 1 and 3!

Can you see how the XLR connector is connected to the PCB?
Usually there is a SPDIF connector with markings on the board.

Thanks Zek... I thought about that but fortunately Lynx sent me a wiring diagram. I didn't expect that. Good customer service on their end. I think I'm set!
