Considering the purchase of 8361A

Thanks to their coaxial designs the 83x1 models can all be listened from quite small minimum distances but due to their different size, directivity and max SPL the max distance differs alot making for example the 8361 also suitable up to 3 meters which is what is often called midfield monitoring while the smaller modes are not:

Where does it say that? Unsuitable distances are marked in red. There is no red color in the charts at 3 meter marks or beyond.

Of course at 3 m the room will have an influence; but isn't this is what we have in mind and even want when using the speakers in such an environment?
