Connecting active crossover to integrated amp

GENE at audioholics was right Denon engineers should have put a pre out. Oh the joy

If you don't mind me asking out of curiosity. why would the subwoofer also need.a DAC. Its going from speaker terminals on denon to high level input on sub.
The miniDSP can feed the Denon only one type of signal. Either the High-passed Satellite signal, or the Low-passed Subwoofer signal.

If you feed the Denon the High-passed Satellite signal, and you connect the Sub to it via Speaker out, then the Sub won't play anything as there's no bass left in the signal.

If you feed the Denon the Low-passed Subwoofer signal and you connect the Sub to it via Speaker out, then the Sub will play just fine, but now your Stereo speakers won't as there's no signal left for them to play.

Hi guys I apologise in advance if I posted this in the wrong place , I'm new.

How can I connect my sublime acoustic k231 active crossover to my Denon PMA a110 amp so I can crossover my main speakers with the REL t7x sub.

*Denon has NO preamp output

*It only has preamp in

* Does have line output but pre volume.

After spending a month setting up crossovers and sub on my other system the difference is IMMENSE and there's no turning back to 2.0

Any info would be appreciated.
After a cursory look at the manuals for your Denon integrated amplifier and REL subwoofer, it seems that the only reasonably practible solution using that equipment would be to utilize the high level (speaker level) input on the subwoofer wired as per REL's instructions in the manual. Use the limited adjustments on the subwoofer, and run your loudspeakers full range. Maybe also try the effects of plugging the ports on the loudspeakers if those are bass reflex type. Put some effort into adjusting the physical placement of your loudspeakers and subwoofer, as that is the only means of adjusting the phase interrelationships (subwoofer and speakers) in the summed output.

As for the "K231" external active crossover, it is of no use in your current system.

Be very careful in hooking up the subwoofer. It has single ended input. Your amplifier might be either differential output or single ended output, and I am not yet sure which after cursory review of the limited information which was easily found.
Read the manual.
