I nearly choked on a Cadbury's double decker bar once (great choccie bars those, I recommend eating them at every opportunity) when I saw Melco selling a USB CD drive for £1000. £1000 for a USB disc drive, FFS, I paid £15 for a USB disc drive for my Surface Pro and it works perfectly well (even if it does feel like it was made from old egg boxes).

It's all gone too far. Aldi doorstops on top of mini-components to 'improve' the sound.

As far as I am concerned, if your stuff is so cheap and light that the cables pull it off the shelf and it needs a door stopper to hold it still- it aint HiFi, it's total rubbish.
