Can you suggest any small 2.1 amplifier in the form factor direction of lets say an Smsl A50 or Dayton DTA-2.1BT2
and similar so fairly compact ,

that has an active Highpass with variable frequency for the Satellites?

Not looking for plate amps as they are all too big to carry around

I am searching among these small digital amps but its hard to find one with this feature. Mainly i see Subwoofer X-over but no mention about what happends with the Satellites

I read in the Dayton manual „Sub fX-over 50-120 hz“ but no mention of what happens with the Satellite signal.

So in a case with a variable Sub X-Over frequency ideally the Sat`s would get Highpass filtered at the corresponding frequency but i have the feeling
that most of these amps send full range signal to the Sat`s even when combined with a sub.
The luxury solution would be to have the ability of a variable Highpass frequency for the Sat`s that i can activate even without using a Sub

Crossover frequency can be set freely between 30 and 250Hz.

You can enable the crossover with no Sub connected.

There's more sub integration features like phase, level, delay, and a 10-band Parametric EQ with automatic room correction or fully manual configuration.

All adjustable from your MLP using the WiiM Home App.

The new Douk A5 amplifier does just that.
