But I have UPS Audio Player Pro for EQ.
And I guess several transportable AMP/DAC plays better and are more powerful than K5. I we do not think of the EQ

As said, I merely mentioned features that it has that others may not have. When you do not use the features look for something you need.
It stands out because it is small, portable and desktop and has EQ options. That's it.

I never bought any amp but did buy an E30 and UMC 204HD but have bought well over 50 headphones in the last few years.

Topping E30 is nice. I know that.

Regarding EQ and Macbook:
UPS Audio Player Pro is just for Android, as I know.

Therefore the K5 might be a great option anyway.

I can't hear any differences between DAC's using a proper reconstruction filter when level matched despite thousands of people claiming they do.
I must be deaf for those DAC 'differences' so ... DAC deaf.
