Close-back setup

Hello guys,

Thanks for the help putting together my open-back setup. I am very thankful to you.
Can you also help put together a close-back setup that I can use when I'm not at home?

I mostly listen to classical and instrumental music.

I'm considering these close-back headphones:

• DAN CLARK AUDIO AEON 2 NOIRE
• Meze 109 pro
• AUDEZE LCD-2 CLASSIC CLOSED

If you have any better models in this price range, you are very welcome to provide input

It is on the 'warmer' side of things.
You may have meant the '99' model.

Drop AEON X Closed

LCD-XC (later version)

Also consider Austrian Audio Hi-X60 (neutral)
Focal Celestee (also warmer side).

I might just go with the

AKG K371 for close-back.

I got the Aeon 2 Noire and it's a very good headphone that doesn't really require PEQ to sound good. The earcups are very spacious and the headphone is comfortable.

I use it for movies and TV shows.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO - 250 Ohm is too analytic.

Which AMP/DAC do you use for Aeon 2 Noire?

I have 2 setups.. Cambridge CXN V2 with Singxer SA-1.

And SMSL D300 with SMSL SP400.

Both headphone amps are plenty powerful even with PEQ, Convolution filters or headroom in roon.

Nothing in particular. I'm using a Topping L70 for the amp, which is quite a bit more than needed.
