Hello forum!
Just a complete audio n00b here... possible already a junkie!

Got the audio bug earlier this year when I bought my first AVR and bookshelf speakers : Denon X1700H and a pair of Q-Acoustics 3010i for my TV+ PC (music + movies). Felt in love with the combo for listening music... but not so much on the regular TV watching.

"Unfortunately" :D, I've found this forum and AMIRM's reviews and I went down the rabbit hole: class D seemed more suited for my needs than my existing class A/B Denon (functionality wise is overkill for my needs). So, a month ago bought an AIYIMA 07 PRO (BT , TPA3255 - 80Euros from Amazon) and a pair of second hand Philips MCD708: for me it's a perfect match.

BuuuuT... I'm going to put them in another room... so I need one more class D amp. Since I felt in love with MCD708, I bought another pair ... and currently "window shopping" on Aliexpress: Fosi v3 and Douk mini A5 got my attention. Both are well apraised amps, here on ASR and on CheapAudioMan's YT channel.
Reading / watching the reviews, I'm starting to worry regarding the posible heat disipation issues that may arise with Douk. My Aiyima 07 PRO is just "warmish" after 2-3h of watching TV (a little bit warmer when using BT).
The plan is to get a V3 or an A5 with a 3x Amp PSU, so I'm interested which of the two will stay cooler (not planning to lift the glass or add extra heatsink of A5): V3 is using the case as heatsink ... and A5 is tinier than V3 + I've just read that, there are more hw versions of Douk A5, which could be different performance wise.

So, any owner present, who already did a comparisson beetween those 2 regarding the heating aspect?

PS:
This is my "setup"... for now :D
In case you're wondering what's with the crappy 5V USB Genius PC speakers.... they are for a revamp: plan to replace the amp inside with a PAM8304: I'm curios if they will sound better :D

Normally amplifiers are better than human hearing unless you hear noise (hum, hiss, or whine) in the background or if you over-drive it into clipping. "All good amplifiers sound the same" (ignoring tone controls, etc.)

So the main concern is having enough power to go as loud as you want (without burning-out your speakers).

Noise is tricky because there's more than one way to measure/specify it and then it depends on the sensitivity of your speakers, how close you are to your speakers, and other noise in the room, etc.

...You can't trust the manufacture's power specs either.

With my A7 max + Philips .... the volume knob is half way up (12 o'clock position) and the sound is almost loud no distortion or clipping, since the room is small and I'm in 3m range. I've measured the sound loudness with my phone app ... it's in 50...60 db range for normal audition - don't think I can go higher without my neighbor's starting to complain.

So, my main concern is the heat dissipation V3 vs A5 since it could function 3-4 hours.

Regarding the crappy Genius... it will be a fun project... nothing serious.
