Class D amp and speaker length

I am needing to move my Buckeye 252 amp about 35 feet from my KEF R3 speakers and would like to find out what size/kind of wire I should use in doing this. I have read that Class D amps do not have same characteristics as A/B amps with regard to this. Any suggestions on what I should use?

Doesn't matter what type of amp you're using, the objectives are the same. For that distance 14-gauge would likely be fine, but 12-gauge is commonly recommended because the price difference is minimal. I used 14-gauge for all my speaker wire runs, including to surround speakers that are likely roughly 30 feet, works fine.

Your amp has extremely low output impedance - it's a decent Class-D.
You have way more damping factor than you care about with any reaonable cable....
Get the least expensive cabling you can find - 4 mm-sq will work fine - but buy some connectors that aren't rubbish (won't tarnish, break, fall out etc).
