Hello,

With a budget close to 6000€/6300$ to buy an AVR and an external amplifier ( Front Chanels), is buying a Marantz Cinema 50 and an Anthem MCA 325 GEN 2 a good option?
I have the opportunity to buy an AVR Anthem MRX 740, like new, but for €1000/1053$ less. Would the Anthem AVR and Amplifier duo be a better option?

Other option with this budget could be the Denon AVC110?

Thank you for your time!

Anthem AVRs and AVCs come with multiple quirks, some persistent bugs, and very sparse user manuals.

Marantx/Denon come with very few bugs and very detailed robust user manuals (350+pages) full of easy instructions and tips for advanced features. Plus the new Cinema 50 allows you to shut off power to the internal amps by channel individually.

Anthem requires a lot of user experimentation and knowledge. Just read through their owners forums to get an idea.

The MCA 325 will work fine with either choice.
