中国耳机合集-2023.jpg

Hello everyone, I'm Anzol from Cuckoo Studio. I am a mixing and mastering engineer, and I also run an audio review channel on platforms in China. Over the past few years, I have measured a vast number of audio devices, including headphones, speakers, audio interfaces, microphones, and more. By the end of 2024, the total number of devices measured has reached over 200 and continues to grow. I hope to share our channel's measurement data with you here.

This is my first compilation post, focusing on Chinese Hi-Fi. Chinese headphone products have seen rapid advancements in recent years. Today, they often offer excellent value for money and good sound quality compared to many similar products. There are also many exceptional products available at surprisingly low prices.

Due to the large number of products, I will divide this content into multiple parts and will strive to update at least quarterly after completing the previous content.

Before viewing the data charts below, please read this article to fully understand our channel's measurement conditions and chart interpretation:

Also, it's important to note that while I won't include detailed product evaluations in this compilation, we generally avoid judging products "too strictly based on target curves" in our regular reviews. The reason is that while headphones close to the target curve are excellent and well-designed acoustically, headphones with different frequency responses can also be effectively used in certain scenarios. Additionally, different individuals' HRTF and the listening angles of various speakers can cause significant variations in high-frequency response. Therefore, when evaluating the sound of headphones, a considerable amount of dialectical thinking is required.

Hi, sounds interesting.

Before you get yourself into trouble with site rules, please will you rename your thread. The "chi-fi" term is not accepted here due to negative connotations.
I have no axe to grind and I'm not criticising.

Please rename the thread though so we can get on reading and enjoying your posts

I know you mean it in a positive sense, but our host asked us to avoid the term:

Thank you for your reminder! In my usual discussions with people, I have never heard that "Chi-Fi" is a derogatory term, and I find it to be a concise and distinctive term, which is why I used it. If Amir prohibits its use, I will modify my title. However, I haven't thought of a better alternative yet. Do you have any suggestions?

House rules..

How about "Chinese Hi-Fi" ?

Perhaps we should ask someone from China to clarify as to whether the term "Chi-Fi" is derogatory - I suspect not.

After all, here in the UK, we used the term "Brit pop"; it was not derogatory, just a contraction of "British pop music".

Keep it simple?

"Review compilation: Over-Ear and In-Ear Headphones (-2023)"

I assume that you'd review equipment from other countries if you came across one - no need to restrict your scope. You already say that you are based in China.

I really like the look of your reviews btw, always interesting

Yes, I have already made the changes.

It can be written that way, but since the theme this time is about Chinese products, I still need to include that. thank you for your suggestion! Let's continue with the content:
