I think the more interesting question is how
clonal it actually is.
My suspicion of
most if not all of these inexpensive (relatively speaking) Asian-sourced "clones" of much more expensive "brand name" components (vintage/classic or current production) is that the extent of their
clonality ends at their product descriptions.
Cf., e.g., the famous (or infamous) McIntosh MC275 clone(s), e.g.
Perhaps the circuitry is identical (i.e., a clone of) that of the MC275 Mk IV (or whichever) -- but I'll reckon that the output transformers are
not made identical to Mac's originals. Call me a skeptic.
