I find that the crinear Daybreak's are comfortable, yet both the zero 2's, and truthear gate, don't feel comfortable, and in fact cause me pain, the zero 2's from the tragus, while the gates cause me pain in the concha (by pressing the antihelix), the reason I believe this to be the case is just that I have sensitive ears, and over time the mild pressure causes pain.

The Daybreak's on the other hand fit well, but don't sound better than the gate and Zero 2's, I'm willing to spend decent money for comfort, I'm eying the topping hane, the chu 2's (even lighter than gate's), and the truthear Nova's (Shenzhen audio has a big sale, and the Nova's are around $100), but I figured I'd just ask.

Hi @Gabriel S! Welcome to ASR.

As I see it, there are two ways to achieve IEM comfort:
  1. Buy various universal IEMs and eartips and just see what fits best. Other people's advice isn't terribly useful there, it's like buying shoes.
  2. Go to a local acoustician, have them make an ear impression, and buy CIEMs or custom eartips.

the best fitting iem for you might be the worst fitting iem for someone else, they're highly personalised and there's nothing you can do really. Nozzle width and length could be an indicator of comfort but the shape of the shell matters as well.

Get yourself a CIEM as static said or just keep going through cheap iems till you find something that fits well.

I use the Moondrop x Crinacle DUSK, it is comfortable for me but i feel like it barely fits and i have to push it back in every 20-45 mins to get perfect sound. Some others say fit is no issue. Whereas my Moondrop Aria was absolutely comfy and fit me so well i forgot it was there even. Some others say it doesn't feel as nice. See how it's just up to personal preference completely? Nothing much to do here
