Sound good and are comfortable. Really soft like the alpha pads(which I have on hifimans) but much cheaper. https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Beyerdynamic-DT770-DT880-DT880PRO-DT990-DT531-Thick-Memory-Ear-Pads-Cushion/162832936408?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Well with sonarworks running they sound good. Maybe a little warmer and a touch more bass? It sure didn't degrade the sound any. The combo of sonarworks and the pads sure makes them sound like there punching above there price point though. I have about $110 invested in them with the pads and would be satisfied to take them on the road which is what I bought them for. I like my planers but I wouldn't sweat it if I was on the road and this is all I had. Except there kinda hot on the head compared to the stock velour ones.
