CES 2026, Any NEW AVRs expected?

Seems innovations in AVRs are over since many years. Most AVRs launched are now close to 4-5yrs old.

Has AVR technology peaked ? Any new AVRs expected at CES 2026 ?

I expect few releases until HDMI 2.2 chips become available probably later this year. CES 2027 will likely have a lot more substance.

Onkyo TX-RZ50 was announced Sept 2021, Denon x3800h was announced Sept 2022. x6800h in Sept 2023. Etc. So the common approach is to announce in Sept and start selling in Oct/November for the end of the year shopping season. There might be exception but it is very slim they will announce new AVR at CES
