Michal Urbaniak, a giant of Polish jazz and a pioneer of jazz fusion, passed at 82. His 1970s releases were electric jazz fusion on the level of Return To Forever and Weather Report albums. Try his Fusion III album from 1975, with guitarist John Abercrombie, bassist Anthony Jackson, and drummer Steve Gadd. RIP to a jazz violin and fusion great. (Wikipedia) :cool:

Chris Rea passed away at the age of 74.

I've always used Looking For The Summer as a reference song to evaluate speakers. I love his husky baritone particularly in that song.

I hope he finds peace when Driving Home For Christmas for the last time.

 
Tatiana Schlossberg, daughter of Caroline Kennedy passes at age 35 from leukemia.

She used her privilege to work on climate change. I saw her speak in a small audience under 100. She is known for speaking and her book Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don't Know You Have.

Mr. Whitlock was the very essence of corruption in The Wire. He will be missed.
