I’m waiting for another shoe to drop, not looking forward to what is next.
There's a crazy number of actresses in their 90's that are defying the odds. I wouldn't be surprised if the next shoe... was more of an exodus.

They say bad things come in threes... which makes me expect another luminary musician is going to fade away. I don't always buy into superstition, but I think we've seen this pattern enough to make the most agnostic wonder at times.

My first concert was The Beach Boys in '65 when I was 12 years old. Sam The Sham and The Pharaohs of Wooly Bully fame, opened for them.

My first record album was Little Deuce Coupe. Played it last night for the first time in over 50 years.

This could have easily fit on Pet Sounds:

Speaking of Pet Sounds:

Boris Claudio "Lalo" Schifrin (June 21, 1932 – June 26, 2025) was an Argentine-American pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor. He was best known for his large body of film and TV scores since the 1950s, incorporating jazz and Latin American musical elements alongside traditional orchestrations. He was a five-time Grammy Award winner; he was nominated for six Academy Awards and four Emmy Awards. (Wikipedia)

Lalo did the soundtracks to many iconic movies and television series. RIP to a true legend.

The Dirty Harry soundtrack is fantastic.

Possibly my favourite of all time. Well worth tracking down with the various outtakes. A grungy funk masterpiece.

(He also notably composed the Mission Impossible theme... In three minutes aparently.)

Awesome. RIP.
