Lindsay Buckingham I think is a fair way off being the youngest... I think he always *seemed* the youngest.

He's 74.

Mick is 77, John is 78.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-57 and joined the PGA Tour in 1960 and won eight times during his 21-year career, playing on one Ryder Cup team.


I remember seeing him on TV back in the days before I found that years of practicing golf convinced me to take up motorcycle riding instead. This is how I remember him best:

Bummer. I remember watching him in a senior skins game when I was much younger. An absolute character.
 
I saw him live at one of the Bob Hope Desert Classic golf tournaments when I was a kid - my dad was a PGA scorer back then. When he arrived on the 18th green of the Pro-Am, he and Don Adams, aka Agent 86 Maxwell Smart on Get Smart got into an impromptu sword fight with their putters. Funniest thing I've ever seen on a golf course...
