CD transport for RME DAC?

I have an RME ADI 2 Pro, and need something for the Mrs to play CDs.

I think I need a transport, so I am looking for some help and a shortlist of manufacturers/models please.
(And a remote is probably going to be required.)

Looking at a “Sony Region Free UBP-X800“…
Maybe we can blue ray the thing to the TV for movies and optical the thing into the DAC for the CDs??

Sure, that will work. Just note that multi-format players are often a bit slower when it comes to CD playback. Most notably in startup, and any operation (like skip track, etc).
