The short answer is no.
The longer answer is that moving the transformer will remove the small external hum field from the transport, and the tiny magnetostriction mechanical vibration. The first will have no effect given that the transport's output is a digital stream, the second is equally unlikely to have any effect as the transport mechanism is generally decoupled from the chassis, and in any event, there's far far more vibration from the rotating CD than ever from a small transformer.
Sadly, this isn't the sort of thing you can blind test unless you have two identical transports where you can modify one and blind test against the unmodified one.
