Cavern QuickEQ - Basic How to

I'm pretty sure the OP meant "yes, what you're describing is the way it should work and we will endeavor to resolve the issues." Clearly, the no-launch is not as designed.

Imo, there's a limit to the complaining when someone is providing their efforts at no cost to you. Alternatively, you can always develop your own code.

Oh, I see. I am sorry. I misunderstood the reply.

Yes. It's very unfortunate that I rushed out the DAMF support just before I left on a holiday and it doesn't launch. I'm arriving home in a few days and either a fix or a rollback to an older version is expected swiftly. Sorry for the weeks of inconvenience. I'll be posting the update here.

It should be fixed now.

Nothing has changed. Still the black screen, that's all. I tried the Portable version.

PS: I tried installing the "Download for Windows" version, the black screen appears momentarily, then disappears.

Strange, 3 people have reported it works now. It might be the Cloudflare cache, try this link for portable or preferably this link for the full installer, it bypasses that. The links have to be copy-pasted to the address bar. If the links still don't work, I already bought a fresh PC to get to the bottom of this, and will install a new Windows on it to test.

No, I meant to say that I downloaded and installed the "Download for Windows" version, and when I try to run it, I get the black screen and no reaction.

I got a report from someone on GitHub, it was the FFmpeg finder that stuck in an infinite loop until an eventual crash. Fixing it resulted in the current installer version (which also has TrueHD support) running on a fresh Windows.

I downloaded the portable version and was able to start it on my home PC (Win7). I will try it!

I converted 5.1 audio (a Metallica track) to binaural 2.0. The result is just awful. Please excuse me, but it's hard for me to believe that anybody can tolerate such sound.

Yes, the default HRTF is very low quality, because the quality ones require licensing fees (about $1 per each user). However, they can be manually loaded, including Dolby's personal HRTF. This is how HRTF users use it.

Hello! Could you please tell me why, when measuring the corrected curve (quick mode, flat) in REW, the channel-by-channel measurements at low frequencies up to 200 Hz show a flat line, while the measurement in L+R mode shows a dip around 125 Hz?

File measure *.mdat, see link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A-ARdVi34uaa0pExQqpFSBDIDzxY676z/view?usp=sharing

Phase issues caused by nonsymmetrical placement.
