My playlist can include Polish rap, Miley Cyrus, Ramstein and Vivaldi. I don't understand how it can be that I like so many different compositions, but that's the reality. I try not to show anyone my musical tastes, especially its dark sides. So when I'm asked to turn on songs on my phone at parties, I say that my battery is running low, or that I have nothing, or that I've deleted everything. I come up with excuses so that only people don't look at me like I'm crazy.

I know it's been around for decades, but Kraftwerk's Autobahn is a classic:

And from the same era, Golden Earring's "Radar Love"

My best car music memory: the tape my father pushed in when we put the car through the carwash and the radio-reception cut out:
Paul Simon. You can caaaaall me Al.

If you want a speeding ticket: Goa Trance/ Psytrance (e.g. Infected Mushroom)

My favourite genre for a nightly drive back, which at home I don't often have a sit down for: Deep House / Trance

Some classics:
- Meat Loaf - Paradise by the dashboard light
- The Doors - Riders on the storm (when the weather is bad as f*ck)
- The Cars - Drive
- The Rolling Stones - Paint it Black (for those old enough to remember the Ford model T)

Car trips need singalongs:
- Hall & Oates - Maneater
- The Police - Roxanne
- Marillion - Kayleigh
- Culture Club - Carma Karma Chamelion
etc

That one time we went to Germany on a roadtrip, windows down and volume 20 to annoy the locals:
