No, but really. I also have the Red and it doesn't have grainy highs, but a lot of others - that aren't usually associated with that - do, and that's because highs are highly subjective and dependent on your ear anatomy. The Red's highs, as a matter of fact, have less susceptibility to graininess as they aren't that well boosted and extended, whereas other with "linear" treble decay often are because of the HRTF and ear resonances.
