can you adjust a active subwoofer volume by turning down the avr main volume?

i connect a dsp active sub mk v12+ to anthem mrx740
the subwoofer has a mobile app to control sound volume,also i set the subwoofer volume at 41 when i process the room correction of avr.
The 41 volume level of subwoofer seems the maximum volume level of this subwoofer when i doing the room correction avr
because any parameter of subwoofer volume over 41 like 50 can not be accepted by av receiver,it will indicate the subwoofer volume is too loud

my question is does the subwoofer volume will turn down by itself if i adjust the main volume of av receiver to turn down the floor speaker volume?
i leave the subwoofer volume to 41 when i finished avr room correction

Unless you change the sub's volume, it applies a fixed gain to whatever signal you feed it. If somewhere upstream in you system you have applied filters to correct the room or alter LF, just leave the sub volume alone.

For me, I'd try to blend the sub against the mains by ear first, and leave the sub volume alone, and then do your DSP'ing afterwards. The less filtering you have to apply, the better, I reckon.

Slightly unclear what you're asking, but the subwoofer level will follow the level of the other speakers as you turn the AVR volume up and down.
