Can we have an all things medicine related thread?

We have an UFO and AI thread, since almost everyone here have themselves or someone they love go through some medical conditions, why not start a medicine thread?

As per JSmith's suggestion, no medical advice should be offered. Perhaps only limit to new advances and personal experience.

Why not just consult a website that specializes in medical topics, and keep this site for its intended purpose, audio? A site called Science-Based Medicine would be a good place to start.

HOLD ON!, You mean those bright lights and that probing had no medical value? Now I'm not so sure how I feel about it.

My personal opinion is that I know very little about medicine and would very much value membership's expertise and advice in this regard. Without our health, audio has little meaning. I also don't mind AI queries but perhaps not as the opener. I intended to formally open the discussion with a targeted post at some point. I don't know why this thread has become contentious. Regardless, let me close it and I will open an appropriate one in the future.
