Using wiim audio and the in line usb converter so i can use a spdif cable (optical) from my pc to my wiim amp pro

Tidal system default output i can adjust volume from tidal but not using my converter(the name of my converter), does it make a sonical difference (not the volume) using system default and the name of my converter as an output

Can something do exclusive mode and at the same time using the samme bit and samplerate to play sound from twitch or reels, shorts or youtube ?

I want to have the bit and samplerate that the music is using tidal but still be able to hear sound from youtube, twitch or what ever im also listening to while listening to tidal

Like listen to tidal and be able to adjust the volume + have the bit and samplerate the music is recorded in as a background music + what i watch that also has sound

No, this goes against the exclusive in exclusive mode. Just don’t use exclusive mode, you don’t need it. Set output to 24/192 and forget about it.

in the smsl po100 po100ak,an pro thread, when someone said 24bit an 48khz i think it was, was okay, fine he responded by saying it might be fine but exclusive mode with same bit and sample rate as the music is recorded in, makes a difference not having to down or upsample the music

The Windows sampler is generally not terrible, and is easily gone around using EqualizerAPO which is essentially perfect. Lots of info in this thread, at least read the Summary Recommendations at the bottom of the first post https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...nding-the-windows-audio-quality-debate.19438/

Within 2 minutes of setup you can set to 24-bit/192kHz and never have to worry about it again. Definitely worthwhile, and means you don't have to screw about with exclusive mode.

Problem if i want to do that, volume is fixed from tidal at 100% i and i can't listen to anything else

Now im listening to music on twitch and a pubg stream,fs25 I do sometimes wanna do both, where music is often from tidal

No way that is possible even when i have 1000 euros for something ?

No what you’re asking for is not possible, bit perfect playback by definition cannot include or merge with other audio streams (like twitch). but you’ve been misled, having bit perfect audio (exclusive mode) is not as important as it seems. you do not need it. the OS upsampler/downsampler is essentially perfect quality when using EqualizerAPO. it’s okay to leave the PO100 at 192khz and play music at 48, there is no loss of fidelity.

Leaving aside the question of why you might want to do this, the answer is: you need an interface and a mixer. Some examples of what people use mixers for: (1) game commentary. It mixes speech together with sound from the video game or a live feed from an actual game, (2) merging multiple microphones together, e.g. for studio recordings, (3) recording the output of one program with another program, e.g. Youtube into Audacity.

How to use it: you set Program 1 to Input 1 on your interface, Program 2 to Input 2, etc. In your mixer, send Input 1 and 2 to Output X. You can independently adjust the volume of each individual input. All feeds have to be at the same sample rate. Windows has a built-in mixer, which is bypassed in WASAPI Exclusive. In WASAPI Shared, it automatically changes the sample rate and mixes audio from all programs which have sound card access.

Ultimately I agree with @masterhw - you do not need to do this.
