I just picked one of these up and I was wondering if it would work as a headphone amp/eq ?

I know that usually you cannot use rca line out jacks to drive headphones, but since this a car audio piece that instead of having 2v rms has (9.5 volts RMS/ 13 volts peak).

The output impedance (150 Ohm) is too high for almost all headphones. Maybe the DT990 600 Ohm could work.

where did you find the output impedance ?

I wondered about that, but I remembered that some Eclipse head units from a long time ago years ago having 8v/4ohm outputs
