Hi
I don't know exactly how to read the specs but I'm wondering whether maxed out Fiio e10k can damage Zen Can through 3.5" unbalanced connection.
Max inputs for Zen Can:
RCA: 3.8V RMS
3.5mm: 1.92V RMS
Specs for Fiio e10k:
This site says the line out has the max power voltage output of 1.3vrms but that's the back socket.
What if I used a cable that's has a 3.5" plug on on the one end and two RCA plugs on the other, would that make a difference? I ask because Fiio doesn't have RCA connection so I wonder if that wouldn't nullify the point of using RCA on the side of Zen Can.
What would be a sign of an amp receiving signal that is too strong?
Also, would it make a difference whether Zen Can is set to high or low volume?
