Can anyone recommend a desktop DAC/amp that will power Monitor Audio RS6 well?

My first post here-- incredibly useful and interesting site! I bought an NAD d3045 to power a pair of Monitor Audio RS6 floor standees. It doesn't seem to me to work well at all with them. Low end falls apart when volume is past 20 percent. Can anyone recommend a desktop integrated that is likely to sound good with these in a small room? Thanks!
