Can anyone hear the difference with tinned speaker cable?

AI says the increase in resistance is too negligible to hear, but then there's this guy who claims to PREFER tinned copper speaker cable.

No - if the cable is of sufficient cross sectional area for the length and material - there will be nothing to hear.
 
Maybe he has a tin ear.
 
Well I couldn't hear any difference, but made new speaker cables from un-tinned wire just in case! Couldn't help it, I guess! I'm not in a situation where corrosion might be more of a problem. My new cables were a bit longer so there was no way to compare the sound. The other reason I made new cables is because I needed longer cables.
