Cadentia 3 Product Development thread / Audio First Designs

I just got out the ruler and tried to find out how to fit this on my desktop. The height is perfect, my current Fidelias with the subwoofers below are also 59cm height. The width, yeah I can manage. Then I saw the depth . My whole desk is only 80cm deep . Obvious solution would be to put the speakers on stands behind the desk, but as my desk is height adjustable, I kinda need the speakers to move with the desk so...

I have only seen and not used them, but there are stands that clamp onto the back of a desk and sit furthet back.

Very nice near constant directivity from 600 Hz to 3500 Hz.

Also, why does the phase plot look so weird?

I'm very tempted by the kit but the depth is not ideal for me, how hard would it be to make it a column ?
Double the height, half the depth
I'd need more wood of course but would the port fit ?

Thanks for your interest! The good thing about it being a kit is that you have the freedom to do things like this (I also supply kits to customers without the cabinet parts as some of them are good at woodworking or even have a CNC at home)...

But regarding the height, rather than simply doubling it, I will recommend trying to aim the tweeter at around your ear level.

The length of the part of the port that goes inside the cabinet after the 15mm rear panel is 147mm, I recommend having a minimum depth of 200mm.

Thanks ! Indeed a kit without cabinet would be very interesting, I haven't made up my mind yet but I'll let you know

Wow, that’s a jaw-dropping directivity plot.
The headroom looks outstanding, too —
this is truly one of the best speakers I've seen.

I can’t purchase it right away,
but I’ll definitely come back for it someday!

Thank you very much!
I still haven't forgotten about the kind of centre channel that you are after... but I simply have too much to do in the pipeline! Thanks for your patience and appreciation.

The phase data looks weird, maybe there's a formatting error that snuck in?

2nd on the overall rankings, 1st on passives, yet lower price than the others. Wow!

Finely it ties with the KEF Blade 2 Meta WITH equalization. And this without any equalization. This speaker is worth every single penny! US $25,000 / pair vs US $sub 5,000,— / pair. Oh Wow!

@staticV3: can you explain the cause why the Cadentia 3 reaches incredibly good 8.92 with perfect (reaching 14 Hz) subwoofer(s) and eq
only tied by the small Genelec 8030C (8.97) or the Genelec 8331 (8.93),
but the Blade 2 Meta reaches only 8.58?
