Hello everybody,
Since I can't find a balanced cable for my Hifiman Arya that is not ridiculously expensive or doesn't look like it was bought from a supermarket, I decided to try to make one myself. After watching Amir's video on headphones cable I thought that it can't go that wrong.
I decided to use this cable
EPC-4 from viablue
https://viablue.de/com/cables_epc_headphone.php

My question is does it have to be the same cable from the XLR plug to the 3.5 mm ?
or I can Split it into 2 EPC-2 cables ? I imagine the conductor sizes should be the same right ?
Is there something else I have to take into account ?
I'm a newbie and I don't really know much about electrical stuff but I'm willing to invest time into this.
Thanks in advance

Some cable, I would assume your using a quad core cable (4 wires).
or are you using two 2 wire cables?
(2 sets of two wire cable)

If you have 3.5mm cup connectors. The Beyerdynamic is reasonable and decent quality.

I guess using two 2 wire cables is a possibility.
At the beginning I was thinking to use 1 quad wire and join it with two 2 wire cables.
