Cabasse Minorca MC40 - does anyone know?

Hello!
The speakers I writes about here are called Cabasse Minorca MC40.

Has anyone ever heard of these audio columns?

The columns are manufactured by the French company Cubasse. I recently ordered these speakers for testing. I am waiting for them. I can't find much about them on the Internet. It is a three-way structure.

On the Polish website with audio tests, I found a frequency graph:

And also impedance response:

Will someone help me evaluate these columns after this?

Thank you, best regards!

I've always been interested in the Cabasse Minorca with its concentric driver. But that frequency response looks horrible, it might be in room.

Would be great to get one of these to Amir.

What is horrible in this FR? 6kHz?
It is not very flat speaker, like DALI but it is supposedly a rather warm sound, pleasant for long listening and with good midrange. I took it for tests, I'll listen, I'll see. I currently have a MA Silver 200 7G, but it's too dynamic for me, too much fun, not enough midrange focused.

I found something that points to a French site, but you need to register.
Google search gave me this, might be measurements of something else.

You don't need to register, the link is just dead because that forum underwent a forum software update recently and google doesn't have the right links.

Here's a working link.

Flat frequency response is what your aiming for.

But it seems the link provided by Kharan tells a slightly different story.

Can someone extrapolate those measurements for the laymen? It seems like there is a directivity issue and a poor off axis response from 5k at 60 degrees....

It is a bit surprising, considering they measure directivity quite extensively in an anechoic room.

Maybe it sums up all nicely when you combine with the vertical axis?

The dip in the speakers upper response is from edge diffraction. The coax unit is smaller than the baffle and radiates too wide in the 4-6k region. Typically if you use a driver that's smaller than the baffle width and doesn't have anything to control pattern like a waveguide you'll run into this dip, especially if the driver is centered on baffle.

Is it a big flaw? I still have those speakers. They play quite OK. I feel I don't have enough sound in the drum’s hi-hat area. It's probably this 4-6kHz drop? I have currently set up WiiM PEQ like in the screenshot and it's better. I really like stereophonic and the appearance of these speakers. They play with the SVS SB-1000 subwoofer.
