Hi everyone, I recently moved into a new place and, instead of moving my old setup, I decided to rebuild it from scratch. While browsing the second-hand market I came across an interesting deal on the “Cabasse AMP 240 S.” https://www.cabasse.com/amp-240-s/
Until about a year ago it was sold as the “Cabasse ABYSS” — I think there were some copyright issues and they changed the name. The offer is quite attractive because it comes bundled with speakers I’m really interested in.
However, I haven’t found any serious reviews with measurements of the amp. Has anyone had a chance to listen to it — or better yet, does anyone own it? I especially can’t figure out which DAC it uses or how good the DAC section is. The DSP room-correction system seems fairly effective from what I’ve read online, though probably not on the level of microphone-based solutions like Dirac. If anyone has comments or first-hand experience, I’d love to hear them.
Thanks a lot
