Nice, a handy feature!
But... the Citroën DS was doing that 50 years ago! Thanks to the hydraulic system—charged with mineral oil flowing through those famous green spheres...
even the Xantia did it; I remember at the Monza F1 Grand Prix back in the 90s, they drove past with cars missing a wheel.
Fun fact: the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and Spur from the 80s also used a Citroën-style suspension setup with mineral oil...

Did it have a camera to lift its "leg" over empty space and keep going?

So was the Lotus Esprit back in 1983. What's old is stolen and made new again.
