Yes the Ultra is $500 dollars cheaper and does not have an amp but I have Preamps and Good, ok decent, vintage amplifiers that I would like to incorporate if possible.
I also strongly think that showing the Album Artwork and browsing through music libraries on the screen of the Handheld Remote (iPhone or Android), the Streamer screen, and or Connected TV or iPad very much enhances the 'wanna go to my room and listen to my stereo" effect. But spending more on the Eversolo might push me to want to upgrade the sound with better amps and maybe DACs so it can be part of a higher end system. This seems counter intuitive doesn't it. At least having paths to do that right! Anyway, Questions.

Priorities:
P1:
Having album art and browsing through music library to select tracks shown on the screen. All screens: Handheld remote (iphone,), Streamer Screen AND a TV or Ipad Mounted near the system.
P2: Upgrade paths. To add Preamps, DAC and amplifiers, Screens

Q1: If I wanted to use the Eversolo Play with a different amplifier how would I get a Line out of the Eversolo Play? Would I have to go USB out to a DAC then an Amp or Preamp? Do I need a Speaker level to line level reducer to go to an amp (seems kludgy and prone to fidelity loss).
Q2: Can or do either of these units allow for the Screen of the streamer or the handheld remote to be cast or somehow duplicated to a hooked up TV or iPad. Basically enlarge the streamers screen somehow? Maybe using an iPad as the Controller is the solution here, but a Large TV behind the equipment is what I am envisioning.

Note: $500 more for the Eversolo and me not really needing an amp may tilt the scale too much towards Price => Wiim Ultra. Maybe the Eversolo later is the upgrade path. My questions are still valid as I have not decided yet.

Any help is appreciated. It's nice to be among some intelligent people...right? Any suggestion on my posts, what and how I ask things would be helpful also.

WiiM has apps for at least two TV options, Apple and Android, perhaps others, and there are DIY options on GitHub to display WiiM currently playing on any HDMI display.

Thanks! I'll look these up. I am mostly interested in the mechanics of how these work. There is no HDMI Out on the Wiim? Wait!, Can the HDMI Arc send to a TV and not only Receive? That would be something! From where do you get the signal for the mounted TV AND what connection is used? So, a little HDMI, HDMI ARC and HDMI eARC research are underway now by me!

The TV apps (now I see there's also one for Fire TV) are merely for display and basic control, per WiiM's site:

The WiiM Home TV app has basic playback controls and browsing, though it's not a full replacement for a mobile device.

:) Good Stuff Ralphy! And Yes of course HDMI ARC is two way! Duh! That is the whole Point. My Bad!

There is no Line out on the Eversolo Play, so you'd have to connect an external DAC via Coax/USB and use its Line out.

For use with external Amps, Eversolo's DMP-A line would make more sense.

I just ordered my first Wiim product, an Amp. The tariffs haven’t yet kicked in yet, but they will soon.

Have been playing with the Amp.

Unlike the Pro and Ultra, it has Airplay2. I think anyone looking at these three products should look at the feature balance. Can anyone really hear the difference? I used an SPL meter, and based on the speaker’s efficiency, I doubt if I will ever exceed ten watts. 85 dB is louder than I routinely like.

The RoomFix utility is vastly improved from earlier efforts. There’s a moving mic option that made a huge improvement over other methods.
